Employed Andy to fix a problem with an external oil boiler, no heating or hot water. I contacted him through Grants website, and even though he was on a course he replied within 24 hours and we had agreed a time for him to come out to me - the morning after he got back from his course. He arrived around an hour earlier than booked (after checking with me to make sure that was ok - which it was). He listened to all the information I had to give him about the problem. Then proceeded to get to work straight away. He found and fixed the issue within an hour. Then explained what the probem was and what the fix was - turned out to be the switches. Cost was £90 which I thought was very fair. In short friendly, thoroughly reliable and professional with fair pricing. Invoice arrived the same day - which I like as I like to pay bills as soon as possible.100% would use again. Excellent job all round. Very satisfied.
Andrew recently replaced my faulty combi oil boiler with a brand new Grant vortex model. Once he had acquired a replacement the works were completed as soon as possible to a high standard and at a very competitive price. I cannot recommend Andrew highly enough.

Andrew came out to help us when our original boiler engineer was unable to help, he diagnosed the issues ordered the parts and then returned and fixed the issue. I would strongly recommend him.
Andrew had to replace our old Grant external condensing boiler with a new Grant Vortex external boiler. The old boiler was approximately 20 years old, and we’d noticed that some of the radiators weren’t getting warm; some staying distinctly cold. After installing the new boiler and carrying out a power flush (which pushed a lot of accumulated rubbish out of the system), plus careful bleeding of the radiators, we now have all radiators fully working. Andrew also replaced a couple of taps as well - one in the bathroom sink and one in the kitchen. The kitchen tap was especially challenging, using connections that had been soldered in place and the tap itself built in place before the worktop had been fitted. All the work was carried out to a high professional degree, and I will have no hesitation in using Andrew again for any boiler or plumbing work. Even Smartie and Ted (the dogs) appreciate the new found warmth.
I first met Andrew Pointer in 2016 I think. He put a new boiler system into our home. He is very experienced, very helpful and a joy to have around. I have never had a problem with the system he put in and he continues to service it annually. I would recommend him highly.
Andrew replaced our temperamental combi-boiler with a heat-only boiler together with a hot water cylinder. We now have a plentiful supply of hot water and lovely hot radiators.
